The transparent aerial fish pond hangs in midair like a giant crystal. Amid the dancing play of light and shadow, the mermaid stretches her long tail as it glides through the azure waters, as if bringing a deep-sea dream to the human world.
In the park, this flowing fairy tale collides with children chasing each other across the lawn; deep within the scenic area, it transforms into ethereal poetry, gliding among the lake and mountain scenery, making passersby lose track of time; on the commercial street after dark, the fish pond is bathed in neon light, its scales refracting shards of gold, as dancers whirl with the swimming fish, filtering the clamor of passersby into gasps of wonder. With every flip, she leaves a watery imprint in the clouds; with every smile, she makes waves bloom in the air—this suspended ocean is the city’s lightest breath. When the performance ends, the water column, enveloped in starlight, descends slowly, like a reluctant tear; yet by day, it rises again, continuing to glide beneath the blue sky, planting cool dreams into every pair of eyes that look up.
